Helpful Tips On How To Prep Your Outfits For Your Senior Session

1. Steam Your Outfits: Wrinkles and creases can detract from the overall look of your photos, so be sure to steam your outfits before your session. Investing in a handheld steamer is a convenient way to quickly smooth out any wrinkles and ensure that your clothes look their best. And don't worry, if they gather a few wrinkles on the car ride out, I have a handheld steamer here in the studio we can use for touch ups.

2. Hang Them Up: After steaming your outfits, hang them up in a clean, clutter-free space to prevent them from wrinkling again. Choose a location where they can hang freely without being squished or crowded by other clothes. This will help to preserve their freshly steamed appearance until it's time for your session.

3. Organize Your Accessories: Accessories can add personality and flair to your senior photos, so be sure to have them organized and ready to go. Consider placing each outfit's accessories in individual baggies or small containers to keep them organized and easily accessible on the day of your shoot. This includes jewelry, belts, scarves, hats, and any other accessories you plan to wear.

4. Plan Your Outfits In Advance: Take some time to plan out your outfits in advance, considering the location and style of your senior session. Choose outfits that reflect your personality and interests, but also consider how they will look against the backdrop of the chosen locations.
