Central North Dakota weather is known for being unpredictable. Rain, high winds, or extreme temperatures can all affect your photoshoot. While a little wind can add some dynamic flair to your photos, anything over 20 miles per hour might be too much. Always have a backup plan, and consider scheduling flexibility with your photographer to accommodate weather changes. I pad my schedule with extra days just for rescheduling purposes to ensure we capture your perfect day.

2. Poor Outfit Choices

Your outfit can make or break your senior pictures. Avoid clothes with busy patterns, logos, or distracting colors that might clash with the background. Instead, opt for timeless pieces that reflect your personality and style. Make sure your outfits are clean, wrinkle-free, and fit well. Steaming your outfits and hanging them up before the session can save you from last-minute wardrobe malfunctions. Don't forget to bring accessories, but keep them simple to avoid overwhelming your look.

3. Not Preparing Your Skin

Your skin is your canvas, and preparing it is essential for great senior photos. Drink plenty of water leading up to your session to keep your skin hydrated and glowing. Do any exfoliation or peels a week or two before your session to avoid redness or irritation. Make sure to clean and moisturize your skin morning and night to keep it looking its best. Good skin preparation will ensure you feel confident and look radiant in your photos.
